Carpe Diem Mother Cluckers
After mastering the etch a sketch from an early age, I knew I had been bestowed with a talent to create something cool. That and I struggled with a speak and spell so drawing things was probably the way to go. I then flirted with CGI in movies whilst at pinewood studios, but realised my ego couldn’t take airbrushing out z list actors terrible tattoos. University came and went but luckily I got a job a whole 3 days later as a designer and as they say, the rest is history. A multi-award winning creative career proceeded, managing to work with some of the the world’s most exciting and forward-thinking brands, at the countries most prestigious agencies, and in Los Angeles.
My daily activities switch between leading the creative with either our own brand or the brands of our awesome clients. To working closely and running our cool studio, to snacking profusely in between meetings with potential new clients. Did I mention the snacking?
There’s no learning without trying lots of ideas and failing lots of times. “Different’ and ‘new’ is relatively easy. Doing something that’s genuinely awesome and revolutionary is very hard. We shouldn’t be afraid to fail – if we are not failing, we are not pushing.
Do it with passion or not at all and don’t be a dick.
